Native American Events in March

MonksMound_loAs home to the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, Collinsville draws thousands of visitors every year to learn about Native American history in the area. This month the city will host four great events to immerse visitors in the history and culture of ancient civilizations.

American Indian & Ethnographic Show March 8 – March 9, 2014 Gateway Center This show will have Native American and other historical artifacts on display. Admission: Free Admission ISAS710 Illinois Archaeological Society Show March 8 – March 9, 2014 Gateway Center This show features artifacts such as arrowheads, axes and pottery, both historical and prehistorical and more than 400 exhibit tables. About 1/3 of the items displayed will be available for purchase, including Native American artwork, cast replicas and books.
