“Who is Buried in the Moore/Bellefontaine Cemetery?” by Tom Smith

This cemetery is hundreds of years olf and located along the Kaskaskia-Cahokia trail behind the Belle Fontaine House and the History Museum. It is generally known that the Captain James Moore is buried there as is Captain John Whiteside, both having fought in the American Revolution. New research at Moore Cemetery will be shared!

Join us for the program in the History Museum of Monroe County’s Allscheid-Mezger Gallery located at 724 Elaine Drive, Waterloo, IL.
