These four brothers have been brewing their own beer for 25 years, but only recently began selling it to local taverns and restaurants in Granite City. They have a three-barrel system and offer a Pale Ale, Chocolate stout and other seasonal brews such as Oktoberfest in the Fall.
Known throughout the Midwest for its signature soda, SKI, the Excel Bottling Co. recently broadened its market to include craft beer. Their hoppy, West Coast style beers, as well as traditional German style lagers celebrate the heritage of the Southern Illinois and St. Louis region. Call for group tours.

Inside the intimate atmosphere of a renovated 1850s home, this 7bbl Brew Pub offers its award-winning English and Northwest coast-style ales, along with wines, other bar beverages and soft drinks from Illinois’ makers. Food and outdoor seating are available, but there are no video games or TVs in this peaceful setting.
Come experience some of Illinois’ finest sweet and semi-sweet fruit wines. The Country Store features home-made jelly, candles, soaps and much more. Gift baskets are available. This is a perfect place for a day trip, weekend getaway or special event.
Kaskaskia Brewing is located in a 150-year-old building, and produces about 4 barrels of beer per batch. Their selection is ever-changing, so have a pint or try a sampler. They also serve Growlers to go.
Lasata is a Native American word for place of peace, and the winerys atmosphere lives up to the name. A variety of wines from blush and sweet to white or dry are created here and offered for tasting. Assorted cheeses and other goodies are available, so bring your significant other and friends.
A variety of “prototype spirits” are made here including vodka, moonshine, whiskey, gin and rum. Tours of the facility are an interesting way to see how it’s all done. Nestled among 25 acres of orchards and vineyards on a 100+ year old working family farm, Orchard View specializes in fruit and grape wines.
The wines are named from the grapes grown in their vineyard, such as Leon Millot, Concord and Vignole. The plum wine is produced from fruit grown in Macoupin County. The focus is on producing bold red wines and smooth white wines. They want your next meal to be enhanced by wines that excite your senses of taste and smell.
